The full is two out-and-backs. \nBack of the Pack time: 12:00 \n\n  \n\n5k @ Fletcher’s Boathouse – This is an out-and-back route on the C&O Canal path which is a light gravel flat trail. There are no major elevation gains. \nBack of the Pack time: 11:00 \n  \nLive Race Results \nLive results will be posted on Athlinks.com.  Additionally\, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results.  Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race. \nRunner tracking is now available when you sign up for a race with Bishop’s Events. Click on the green SMS button (see example below) at the end of your registration and have your race updates sent to your mobile device as well as those of your friends & family so they can track your race progress. \n \n  \nAwards \nWe award the top 3 men and women overall during our awards ceremony post-race.  We also award the 1st & 2nd place Male and Female in these categories: 19&Under\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, & 70+.  Runners who place top 3 overall in their race are not eligible to also win their age groups. \n  \nPhotos \nWe will post any photos taken by staff on our Facebook page by Tuesday after the event. \n  \nSocial Media Challenge \nOn Tuesdays\, we pick our favorite Instagram or Facebook post from the previous race weekend.  The winner will receive 50% off a future race!  Make sure to tag us in your race photos at: \nInstagram:  BishopsEventsLLC \nFacebook: BishopsEvents \n  \nPacket Pickup \n\nPacket pickup is available at the event.  We recommend arriving 90 minutes before your event start time to check-in. \n\n  \nRace Day Registration \n\nThere will be no on-site race registration for this race. \n\n  \nWater Stations \nThere will be 14 water stations along the marathon course at approximately mile markers 2.1\, 3.8\, 4.3\, 6.55\, 8.8\, 9.3 & 11\, 15.2\, 16.9\, 17.4\, 19.65\, 21.9\, 22.4\, & 24.1. There will be 7 water stations along the 1/2 marathon course at approximately mile markers 2.1\, 3.8\, 4.3\, 6.55\, 8.8\, 9.3 & 11.  One water station will be along the 5k course at approximately mile marker 1.55.   Gatorade will be available at some water stations.  Water stations are subject to change as deemed necessary. \n  \nRestrooms \nPort-a-johns can be located near the check-in/registration area for the Half Marathon & Marathon – starting in Georgetown. \nRestrooms can be located in the facility near the start/finish line – 5K that starts @ Fletcher’s Boathouse. \n  \nBag Check \nWe do not have an official bag check for this race. If needed\, you may leave items at our timing table/tent at the finish line. We do not recommend leaving any valuables as we are not responsible for your items. Any items left and not picked up by the end of the race will be donated. \n  \nVolunteers \nVolunteers should arrive approximately 60 minutes before the first race kicks off.  We will assign volunteer tasks on race morning (water station\, course marshals\, finish line support\, etc).  You can find parking information under “Directions to Parking” with a latitude and longitude pin for where to meet. \n  \nWeather Policy \nWe are an all-weather race company (rain or shine or sleet or snow). SUMMARY:National Wine Day 5k & 1 Miler
DESCRIPTION:Register Now!\nThe 5k course is three laps around the scenic winery.  It is a mixture of gravel road\, grass\, and hills.  It is a challenging course\, but you finish right next to the open outdoor wine tasting bar!  Those who just want a view of the winery can do a 1-mile walk and kids can do the 1-miler.  Awards are for the 5k and Kids 1-Miler.  All participants receive a finishing medal! \nVirtual Race Option \n\n\nWe now offer a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day.  Find more information about our virtual option on our Virtual Races page. \n\n\nRunners Receive Glass of Wine\, Finisher’s Medal\, Technical (Drifit) Event Shirt\, & A Chip Timed Event \nCharity Information \nIn partnership with EOD Warrior Foundation.  The EOD Warrior Foundation (EODWF) serves the EOD community by providing financial assistance and support to active-duty and veteran wounded\, injured or ill EOD warriors\, families of our wounded and fallen EOD warriors and by maintaining the EOD Memorial. – See more here. \n \n  \nRace Start Times \n\n5k – 6pm \n1-Miler – 6pm \n  \nRegistration Fees \n5k – $35\, until May 15 ($40) \nAdult 1-Miler – $30\, until May 15 ($35) \nKids 1-Miler – $20 \n***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance \nT-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before May 14.  We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date\, but it is on a first-come first-served basis. \n\n  \nT-Shirt Design \nT-shirt design for the race is available here as soon as it has been approved. \n  \nRace Medal Design \nRace medal designs can be viewed on the Friday before the race on the Bishops Events Facebook page or our Instagram page. \n  \nLive Race Results \nLive results will be posted on Athlinks.com.  Additionally\, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results.  Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race. \nRunner tracking is now available when you sign up for a race with Bishop’s Events. Click on the green SMS button (see example below) at the end of your registration and have your race updates sent to your mobile device as well as those of your friends & family so they can track your race progress. \n \n  \nAwards \nWe award the top 3 men and women overall during our awards ceremony post-race.  We also award the 1st & 2nd place Male and Female in these categories: 19&Under\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, & 70+.  Runners who place top 3 overall in their race are not eligible to also win their age groups. \n  \nPhotos \nWe will post any photos taken by staff on our Facebook page by Tuesday after the event. \n  \n\nSocial Media Challenge \nOn Tuesdays\, we pick our favorite Instagram or Facebook post from the previous race weekend.  The winner will receive 50% off a future race!  Make sure to tag us in your race photos at: \nInstagram:  BishopsEventsLLC \nFacebook: BishopsEvents \n  \nPacket Pickup \n\nPacket pickup is available at the event.  We recommend arriving one hour before your event start time to check-in. \n\n\n  \nRace Day Registration \nThere will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive approximately one hour before the race to register for the event. T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registers. \n***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance \n\n\n  \nWater Stations \nTwo water stations will be located by the start/finish line and are accessible as you finish each loop. (5K is three loops around the vineyard). Gatorade will be available at some water stations.  Water stations are subject to change as deemed necessary. \n  \nRestrooms \nRestrooms can be located in the winery. \n\n\n  \nVolunteers \nVolunteers should arrive approximately 60 minutes before the first race kicks off.  We will assign volunteer tasks on race morning (water station\, course marshals\, finish line support\, etc).  You can find parking information under “Directions to Parking” with a latitude and longitude pin for where to meet. \n\n\n  \nWeather Policy \nWe are an all-weather race company (rain or shine or sleet or snow). We will email registered runners and post on social media if the race is cancelled\, but this is quite rare\, otherwise assume the race is taking place as scheduled. \nWeekly weather reports are posted on the Thursday before race weekends on our Facebook page by Chad Merrill with the Hagerstown Almanack.  Race officials may delay\, change or postpone the event due to weather conditions.  All registered runners will be notified via email of any changes.  In most cases\, a decision is not made until the night before the race\, and a decision could come as late as the morning of the event. \n  \nRefunds & Transfers \nTo view our full refund/transfer policy\, click here. \n\n\n  \nDirections to Parking \n\nThe race starts and ends in Three Fox Vineyards (10100 Three Fox Ln\, Delaplane\, VA 20144).    The best way to locate this event is via GPS using this latitudinal and longitudinal pin:  38.915049\, -77.923128
